NEW! - EXPLORER painting by Cay

Just finished The EXPLORER painting.

This painting has been on its way since June 2011.
Today it´s up there on the wall, and that! -
I´ll celebrate with a cup of coffee...

(Oil & Acrylic on Canvas. H200 x W150cm - 4 $ALE.)

It means - exactly what you think of it...

My inspiration and recipe for the Explorer painting is following:

1. A tribute to Sir. Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Norgay:
First to reach the top of Mount Everest in 1953/Rolex Explorer.

2. The volcano ash cloud from Iceland
"presented" by Eyjafjallajokull...

3. The burning euros in european economy...

4. The Quotation: "Nothing Happens Until Something Moves"
by Albert Einstein, and the
tasty extravagant behaviour
in a blue lobster barbecue...

All added a bit of orange - just for the flavor...

Enjoy!

The Einstein Qutation on the back of the painting.
