What we Have...

What difference does it make how much you have?
What you do not have amounts to much more.

Dont copy - Steal!

Work in progress....

From my scrapbook. (Painting Picasso)

Kandinsky knew Paul Gauguin, I don´t know if they were friends?
but Picasso were friends with Matisse.

And everybody was looking at each others work - looking for something to "steal" or something to be inspired from, in other terms.

These boys are all gone now, but we can still learn a lot from them.

I think Picasso was the only one brave enough to say it loud - Quote:

Bad artist copy - Good artist steal...

Pic. My latest work in progress, and in order to do my work as good as possible, I steal colors from Kandinsky and Gauguin.

If you gonna steal some colors - steal the best colors there is....

More to come...

(The serial will be 4 paintings.)

Sincerely Yours

Enchantment under the Sea

 It´s a funny thing! - Inspirations...

It´s absolutely out of control, and you can ´t predict which way you should look for it.

When you search for it - it´s not there -
And when you do something else, it´s all over place...

For this new painting, we go Deep Sea.
To find colors and forms referring to the old masters of Abstract.

and what does Titanic have to do with this???
Noting else than Mr. James Cameron just had a deep sea experience too...

Smoking Colors

Color provokes a psychic vibration.
Color hides a power still unknown but real,
which acts on every part of the human body.

If you like colorful Art, and you already has a original Cay Broendum painting on the wall...

You have - don't you?

I then would recommend you to buy a Kandinsky.

Please contact your local art dealer for more.

Of all the arts, abstract painting is the most difficult.
It demands that you know how to draw well,
that you have a heightened sensitivity for composition and for color,
and that you be a true poet. This last is essential.
